Does your phone support eSIM?

Find your model. The list is indicative, your phone settings are the final word.

The list is indicative. eSIM support can depend on the exact phone version and the market where it was sold.

How to check in 10 seconds

1. Dial *#06# on your phone. If an EID number appears, your phone supports eSIM.
2. Or open Settings and look for “Add eSIM” (iPhone: Mobile Data, Android: SIMs or Network & internet).

Beware of locked phones

A phone bought on instalments or on a contract may be SIM-locked and refuse another carrier’s eSIM. Ask your carrier whether it is unlocked.

Tablets and laptops

iPhones sold in mainland China (and some from Hong Kong and Macau) do not support eSIM. The same applies to some phones made for the Chinese market.

Some tablets and laptops have eSIM too, for example iPad Wi-Fi + Cellular since 2018 and selected Windows laptops. Check them the same way as a phone.
